While employed at the Drug and Alcohol Office, Gemma wrote a successful funding submission for the Youth Drug Driving Education Project.
Gemma wrote a successful grant submission for the Young People's Team of the Greenwich Primary Care Trust to conduct an innovative and health-focussed youth event titled Zoned Out.
The following year, Gemma secured funding for the Young People's Team to conduct a follow-up youth event called the Zoned Out Team Challenge.
Following the two Zoned Out events, Gemma authored a submission for the Greenwich Primary Care Trust's annual award ceremony. The Young People's Team won the coveted 2006 Team of the Year award.
While working for the University of Western Australia's Health Promotion Unit, Gemma authored a submission on the Tertiary Alcohol Project.
