Jahn Health Consultancy can meet your staff or target audience's training needs through the development of a customised training program. We can hand-over this program for you to run, or we can deliver the program on a one-off or recurrent basis.
Our training programs are created using the following process.
Assessment of training needs: We will examine knowledge, attitudes, skills and abilities to identify any gaps or areas of need among the intended participants.
Defining the learning outcome and objectives: We will specify the observable, measurable actions that each participant will be able to demonstrate as a result of the program. Examples include changes in knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, and building or strengthening skills.
Creation of the training program: We will develop a program that takes into account the characteristics of the intended audience, learning outcomes and objectives, and the duration. Best practice calls for the inclusion of a range of learning methods (e.g. brainstorming, case studies, demonstrations, discussion, lectures, group work, role playing and activity sheets).
Development of a training evaluation plan: We will prepare a plan that details the evaluation to be conducted during and at the completion of the program. During the course, the Trainer will monitor participant progress and satisfaction to identify any adjustments that need to be made. At the end of the course, the Trainer will collect data on how well the participants achieved the learning outcome and objectives. Where possible, additional follow-up can be performed when participants return to their place of work/study. The data collected will help identify the need for further training, and inform a review and revision of the training program and materials.
Production of training materials: A comprehensive manual will be prepared for both the Trainer and the participants.
